WRITING is hot & sizzling in the desert--
No, I haven't changed my style of writing, I'm still writing clean & cozy. What the above title means is that we've been 114+ with no rain in the forecast. That means we'll be above 110 until the Monsoon returns. The positive for the weather being so hot means that I hibernate in my office and write.
UPDATES:
Book 2 of the King's Men series, THE KING'S SPY is with my publisher, BVS. No release date or cover art yet but I'm guessing it's going to be a late fall/early winter release. Book 3 of the same series, ALL THE KING'S LADIES is in the final edit and I won't submit it for publication until early 2020.
In the meantime, I've begun writing Book 1 of my Civil War series, THE CAPTAIN'S LADY. The research for this one is horrendous but I feel this will be the best one yet. But then, that's the way I feel with each book I write.
As a writer, I think it's important to learn as much as I can about the process of writing historical romantic suspense. Thus I can deliver to you, my reader, a thrilling & enjoyable (yet accurate historical factual) read.
